Phosphorus-Based Flame Retardants: FL-DOPO, FL-RDP, FL-BDP

Reactive and additive halogen-free phosphorus FRs for PC/ABS, epoxy laminates, PA66, and engineering thermoplastics.

Reactive and additive phosphorus-based flame retardants for engineering thermoplastics, PC/ABS blends, epoxy resins, and rigid foam. Flamisol supplies the FL-P product family covering DOPO derivatives, resorcinol-based oligomeric phosphates (RDP), and bisphenol-A diphosphate (BDP) for compounders and resin formulators.

FL-DOPO: DOPO Reactive FR

CAS 35948-25-5. 9,10-Dihydro-9-oxa-10-phosphaphenanthrene 10-oxide. Reactive halogen-free FR that incorporates covalently into epoxy networks, polyamides, and polyesters during processing. Widely used in epoxy laminates, printed circuit boards, and engineering plastics where halogen-free certification is required (IEC 61249-2-21, UL 94 V-0 without halogens).

FL-RDP: Resorcinol Bis(diphenyl phosphate)

CAS 57583-54-7. Oligomeric phosphate ester FR for PC/ABS, PPO/HIPS, and PC/PET blends. Non-halogen, low volatility, plasticizing action reduces processing temperature requirements. Excellent thermal stability to 300°C allows use in high-temperature compounding. Primary product for PC/ABS enclosure applications requiring UL 94 V-0 without halogen.

FL-BDP: Bisphenol A Bis(diphenyl phosphate)

CAS 181028-79-5. Oligomeric phosphate ester. Lower volatility than RDP with higher molecular weight and phosphorus content. Used in PC/ABS, PPO/HIPS, and engineering thermoplastic blends. Preferred over RDP in applications requiring lower blooming and higher heat distortion temperature retention.
